Healthwatch

Kingston NHS critical Kingston's local health services have got worse over the last five years.
A survey by a Kingston health watchdog of casualty patients at Kingston hospital showed more than 65% had been waiting on trolleys. Shockingly, 38% had waited more than five hours and 18% had waited more than 20 hours for treatment.
A further survey by the British Medical Association of over 20,000 GPs nationwide showed that their morale is now lower than when the Conservatives were in government. Eight out of ten doctors say Labour's NHS plans are not achievable.
Healthwatch campaign
Local Lib Dems, led by MPs Jenny Tonge and Edward Davey, have launched a campaign to find out how local people are being treated on the NHS and to push for real improvements.
Spokesperson for the Lib Dem campaign, 'Healthwatch', Cllr Rolson Davies said, "It is appalling that people are waiting on trolleys for nearly a day for treatment at Kingston Hospital. The Lib Dems are the only party committed to improving the NHS in Kingston. It is clear Labour, like the Tories before them, have failed."
Soon Kingston Council will have power to monitor local health services. But before then LibDem 'Healthwatch' campaigners want to hear from local people. Please take a few minutes to complete the form lower down this page.
