Seething Wells site owners consulting on new proposal

The owners of Seething Wells Filter Beds have launched a consultation on a new concept they have for the site. Their proposal is for subterranean employment space with a nature reserve/park at ground level covering the entire filter beds part of the site. More details can be found athttps://www.surbitonriverside.co.uk/

This is a new idea that would see the site retain its openness and give public access to an open space and the river wall. However, it would destroy all the historic filter beds and as the employment use is not yet specified potentially create new problems in the area.

Whilst the plans are still in initial phases, we would like to know your views on this proposal, so please complete our survey with your views. We will use these comments to feed back to the site owners.
